The young South African has converted to Islam
Byron Fortune, a young South African national team leader, has converted to Islam during the holy month of Ramadan.
The protea star in a recent post posted on Instagram claims to have converted to Islam.
After converting to Islam, Byron Fortune changed his name to Imad.

There is also a screenshot of someone else's Instagram story. It reads, 'Fortuit was converted to Islam last night. Alhamdulillah, this month of Ramadan. His name is Imad. I'm proud of you. '
Congratulations to Fortune on another screenshot. The 26-year-old left-handed athlete thanked the person who congratulated him for responding.
Fortune's wife was already a Muslim. This time he also came to the path of light.
Fortune has played 1 ODI and six T20s for the South African national team. He took 35 runs with the bat and took six wickets with the ball in six T20s. He also took part in the recently concluded T20 series against Pakistan.
